I hope everyone had a beautiful Valentine’s Day filled with lots of love [and a little candy 🙂 ]. Check out some of last week’s center work we completed, which was Valentine’s Day themed. I adored reading about the things that fill up our kids’ hearts — and I loved using this activity to teach about commas in a series! Win win! We also practiced our sight words by writing them in hearts; cute right?!
During math time today we sorted, graphed, and tallied some SWEET data — conversation hearts 🙂 What a fun way to incorporate math and Valentine’s Day 🙂
Today we also had an amazing Valentine’s Day party thanks to some amazing mamas — thank you so much Natalie, Kristi, MC, Kinda, and Jessica! Our class had so much fun snacking, completing a beautiful “marble heart” craft, and passing out valentines. Our kids are soo fortunate and left with some amazing, sweet valentines from their friends 🙂
Don’t forget that we have our field trip to The Center for Puppetry Arts on Thursday! What a great week 🙂
