Did you know that every day your child spends about 45 minutes independently practicing skills we’ve learned in class? Center time is such a great opportunity for children to learn independence while reviewing concepts previously learned. During open house you (hopefully) were shown our 5 centers by your child. Here are some snap shots of our class working dilligebtly during center time ☺️

During the time when the kids are working independently I am able to pull small groups of children for guided reading instruction. What an awesome opportunity for me to hear each and every child read throughout the week! I encourage you to check over your child’s center work as it comes home the following week and engage with your child about what they practiced and how they did completing their assignment ☺️
