Landform Plates

As mentioned in my previous post, we are taking our knowledge of landforms and putting it into action! This week we made 3D landform plates πŸ™‚ Each child had to represent water and land (because the coast needs some water!), make each landform out of clay — or make things that represent plants and animals within that landform — and then label each landform appropriately. It took a lot of focus as they were only given a small piece of clay and we really had to use those fine motor skills! Check out the process in pictures … painting the clay, making the labels, and putting it all together πŸ™‚

Are those awesome or what?! They will be coming home tomorrow so be thinking of a safe place to keep them!
