Composing and Decomposing 2D Shapes

We have learned that composing means to put together and decomposing means to take apart (or find the smaller parts). Our class enjoyed some hands-on inquiry while we composed and decomposed 2D shapes

These kiddos not only composed shapes to make a new shape, but took it a step further and turned their shape into a unique picture. I love them!
